The number of Southlake foreclosures has remained extremely low for the past two years while the home foreclosure numbers have skyrocketed in other areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. At the present time, there are only six (6) MLS listings showing to be Southlake foreclosures. The link below contains the current Southlake homes for sale that are listed as foreclosures:
There Are Currently No Southlake Foreclosure Listings For Sale
With a total of 388 currently MLS listings in the Southlake area, and only six (6) of those listings being foreclosures, that converts to only 1.54% of the homes currently for sale in the Southlake real estate market being foreclosures, probably the lowest percentage of foreclosure listings within a real estate market in the entire Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The total number of Southlake foreclosures that have sold year-to-date (October 17, 2009), according to MLS listings, shows to be fifteen (15) homes, while during the same time frame in 2008, the total Southlake foreclosure sales number was only eleven (11). So even though the foreclosure sales have increased 36%, it is only an increase of a total of four (4) Southlake foreclosure sales.
With a total of 326 sales of Southlake homes, year-to-date, in the MLS system, Southlake foreclosures are only accounting for 4.6% of the total Southlake homes that have sold.
