Frisco is one of the fastest growing communities in the entire DFW Metroplex.  In 1990 the population of Frisco was 6,000 people and the projections for the year 2010 population is right at 111,000.  And the population is anticipated to be in the 300,000 range by the year 2025.  So while Frisco real estate has experienced tremendous growth in the past 19 years, the next 16 years should show even substantially greater growth.  Frisco real estate market will be ‘hopping’ for some time to come.

Frisco is home the DFW Metroplex’s IKEA store and Stonebriar Mall and is just a short hop down the North Dallas Tollway to the Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, so shopping is very convenient.  Frisco is also home to Pizza Hut Park, home of the Major League Soccer Dallas Football Club, Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark, the Frisco Roughriders AA farm club of the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball franchise home and the Dr. Pepper Stars Center, the home base for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.  So, if you’re looking for year round sports entertainment, Frisco real estate is calling you.

Frisco homes are ideally located with easy access east and west on the new Sam Rayburn Tollway (former State Highway 121) and its southern boundaries and U. S. Highway 380 on its northern boundary.  Frisco also has several major north and south arteries, including the North Dallas Tollway and Preston Road (State Highway 289).
